After receiving a sizable grant last month, the Elgin Public Library plans to implement a program encouraging parents to share the joy and importance of reading with their young children. The $24,724 grant comes from the Texas State Library and Archives Commission (TSLAC), funded by the federal Institute of Museum and Library Services.
