Rachel Bond, senior business development officer for Greater Texas Credit Union, was promoted to community relations director on April 1.
Rachel started at Greater Texas in December of 2006 and has since expanded the credit union’s community outreach and engagement to include financial presentations, mentoring, volunteerism, advocacy, and beyond. During her time as part of the credit union’s three-person marketing team, she has helped the credit union grow with the addition of five underserved area expansions, eight branch openings and two mergers of credit unions into the Greater Texas family. Now with an expanded team of five in marketing, 19 branch locations and over $650 million in assets, Greater Texas Credit Union looks forward to expanding its reach and service even more, across the great state of Texas it serves.
When asked to share why she loves working for the credit union, Rachel Bond said, “Helping people has always been a call I’ve felt passionate about. As we serve our members, and help them reach their financial goals, I know I’m making a difference in their lives and the community around me. Greater Texas supports its employees to do just that, make an impact, every single day.”
Greater Texas Credit Union has 19 locations across the state of Texas, is known as Aggieland Credit Union in the Brazos Valley, and has been serving Texans since 1952.
