Fisherman’s Park lights up for holiday season

Bastrop kicked off the Lost Pines Christmas season with the Tree-Lighting Celebration and the opening of the River of Lights display at Fisherman’s Park on Sunday, November 28.The program included music by the Bluebonnet Elementary Cardinal Choir and the Cedar Creek Intermediate Choir. Finally, Santa Claus arrived at Fisherman’s Park with fire trucks, much to the excitement of the children in the crowd, and was escorted through the park by Bastrop firefighters dressed as elves.
