First Presbyterian blesses site of future community center

On Sunday, April 10, at 11:15 a.m., the community gathered on the site of the new home of Elgin's newest hub for community services. This new building, owned and operated by First Presbyterian Church, will house the Elgin Community Cupboard, emergency housing used by Advocacy Outreach, community meeting space, and sit adjacent to an all-ability playground.
