An annual, artful tradition to help those who help residents avoid hunger returns this fall.The Elgin Empty Bowl Project will be Saturday, Nov. 12, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at SPJST Lodge 18, 702 S.H. 95 in Elgin.“The rising inflation and soaring gas and food created an increased need for food and support services in the Elgin community.
