Elgin students share talent in Hogeye Coloring Contest

Elgin ISD students in pre-K through 2nd grade shared their talents in the Hogeye Coloring Contest. Sonya Rangel coordinates the coloring contest for EISD and homeschool students through the Main Street Board and the Hog-eye Festival Committee. Rebecca Core, art teacher at Elgin Elementary, added a Hogeye art contest for 3rd through 5th grade students. Students were invited to create works of art that included a pig. The winning coloring contest pictures and the art will be on display downtown through October 31 at Farmers Insurance, State Farm Insurance, Cannon Insurance, Color-works Salon and the Elgin Public Library. ...
