The Elliott T. Bowers Honors College at Sam Houston State University hosted their Medallion Ceremony and Reception on Thursday, December 12 to recognize the accomplishments of the students who completed the honors college. Students were presented with an honors medallion and honors stole to wear when they officially graduate. Of the 25 who were honored last night, three were Elgin High School graduates from the Class of 2016: Chloe Henze, Tametra Cook and Breanna Hargrove.
