A few Elginites braved last week’s cold to visit downtown Elgin for Sip, Shop & Stroll, which included the farmers’ market, S’mores in the Park and a Battle of Main Street between the Elgin Volunteer Fire Department and the Elgin Police Department to raise money for Blue Santa.
