Bastrop's new Lions Club helps their community

The Bastrop Noon Lions Club, chartered on August 4th, 2020, currently has 22 active members. The club meets every Thursday at noon at Film Alley Bastrop. The Noon Lions Club President is Frank Urbanek, a loan officer at Classic Bank and a resident of Bastrop for 11 years. Club treasurer Amberly Palmer, said, “We are a local humanitarian club with a group of volunteers who enjoy helping others in our community, while networking and having fun together.
