Bastrop ISD recently awarded their 2019 Community Partner to the La Grange Bluebonnet, La Grange Noon, Smithville, Giddings Evening, and Round Top Lions Clubs for their volunteerism in providing vision and hearing screenings for their students. Numerous members of these local Lions Clubs have volunteered with Bastrop ISD for the past three years.
