Bastrop’s robotics team conquers state competition

BASTROP — The Bastrop High School robotics team, also known as Bear Tecs, recently went full-on heavy metal and won the NTX Tournament of Robots at Rockwall.Without any sort of specific design instructions, the Bear Tecs had just six weeks before the tournament to draw upon their ingenuity and creativity in a bid for the win at the state competition Oct. 7-9. “There’s no one solution.
