Annual play by Bastrop lawyer finishes final run

From April 26 through April 28, the Bastrop Opera House ran a show called The Disappearance of Little John Henry Owens. Authored by David Bragg, the play depicts the true story of a ten-year-old Bastrop county resident, John Henry Owens, who disappeared while running an errand for his mother in 1876. His disappearance led to an unsettling chain of events that left everyone in the area in fear.
