Twenty-one-year-old Bastrop County native Kendall Alvarado was born with Polycystic Kidney Disease, and she has suffered with the side affects her entire life. Five years ago, Kendall, who is now studying nursing, had a kidney transplant, but now the kidney has stopped functioning, and in order to be well enough to achieve her dream of becoming a nurse, Kendall needs another kidney.
