Clint Nagy, Bastrop’s Interim Police Chief since January 2020, will have the interim designation removed from his title effective Wednesday, September 23 as he is appointed Chief of the City of Bastrop Police Department. Chief Nagy started his career with the City of Bastrop on September 9, 2002. Since that time, he has promoted within the department holding various positions from School Resource Officer to Criminal Investigations Sergeant.
