Penalties, missed opportunities and big plays all hurt the Elgin Wildcats in their 28-6 loss to the Belton Tigers last Friday.The Wildcats’ record fell to 4-2 overall and 1-1 in district play. The game was much closer than the score would indicate. Some red zone inefficiencies and a few late touchdowns by Belton were the difference makers.
