Suzanne was an avid gardener and loved watching the hummingbirds and butterflies enjoy the fruits of her labor. Her other pride and joy were her 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren who she doted on constantly. She believed her greatest accomplishment was raising six children on her own. She was a friend to many and always made those around her feel like family. Her greatest strength was her kindness of spirit. She was the type of person who would strike up a conversation with a stranger while standing in a line. She would say that a stranger is a friend you haven’t met yet. Her catchphrase was Que Sera Sera a phrase she lived her life by. She will be dearly missed by those that knew and loved her.

A small, close family gathering was held at Providence-Jones Funeral Home in Elgin on Friday, February 11th and a celebration of life was held on Saturday, February the 12th.
