Moises Dominguez Valencia 70, of McDade TX, passed away Friday, January 7, 2022. Moises was born to Felipe Valencia and Joaquina Valencia on November 24, 1951, in the small town of Oluta, Veracruz, Mexico.

Leaving his family’s small farm at a young age, he went to work for a small restaurant as a dish washer; there he met his future employers, which admired his hard work and dedication, employing him as a messenger. He then went on to work as a water well driller, which took him all over the country of Mexico. These places include Sinaloa, Guadalajara, and San Luis Potosi, where he met the love of his life, Estela Dominguez in 1980, and the couple married just two years later.

On December 1984, they welcomed their first son, Moises Dominguez, Jr., followed by their daughter, Brenda Dominguez two years after. In 1986 Moises Dominguez chased the American dream leaving behind his two kids and loving wife for a better future. Once in the U.S., working several odd jobs as a ranch hand, potato farmer, he met A.D. Sweatt and his wife Esther.  With the full support of his newfound father figure A.D., he brought his family to join him in 1991.   Just a year later, their youngest son A.D. Dominguez was born. He continued to work for A.D. Sweatt until his death in 2013, taking over his firewood business.

During his spare time, he loved spending time with his family, creating memories such as camping, and fishing. He also enjoyed gardening and caring for his animals, especially his goats. He was a hardworking, caring man that would put others before himself. He would go out of his way to help anyone and everyone no matter the time of day or night. He touched many lives and would be truly missed by his friends and family.

He is survived by his wife Estela Dominguez; his three children, Moises Dominguez Jr., Brenda Dominguez, and A.D. Dominguez; two grandchildren, Mia and Delainey Dominguez; his brother-in-law and close friend, Timoteo Perez; numerous extended family and dear friends.
