Maria Amelia Vizcarra Villarreal

Maria Amelia Vizcarra Villarreal, 58, peacefully left this earth to her heavenly home on July 19th, 2019. Maria was born in Elgin, Texas on April 12th, 1961, the daughter of Francisco “Pancho” and Amelia Vizcarra. Maria married Francisco “Paco” Villarreal on July 11th,1986. They were lovingly married for 33 year.

She is survived by her mother, Amelia Vizcarra. Her husband Francisco Villarreal and her two sons Jamie Villarreal and Kelsey, Arturo and Jackie Villarreal and their children Amelia and Coleman. Along with numerous brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.

Maria was an avid traveler who enjoyed visiting family in Mexico and spending time on warm sandy beaches, but most of all she lived to be an amazing wife, mother, and Momo. She took pleasure in vacationing with her husband and spending time with their friends. She especially enjoyed cheering on the Texas Rangers, Texas Longhorns, and her boys whether it was on the baseball fields, roping arena, or just in life. But her crowning jewel were her two beloved grandchildren Amelia and Coleman.

Visitation will be held Monday July 22, 2019 at 6:00 P.M. with the recitation of the holy rosary beginning at 7:00 P.M. at Scared Heart Catholic Church, 302 W 11Th Street Elgin, Texas. Funeral Services will be on Tuesday July 23, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. also at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Marias Siblings will serve as pallbearers: Leticia “Tish” Viscarra, Leonard Vizcarra Sr, Luis Vizcarra, Francisco “Frank” Vizcarra Jr. (wife Lorraine), George Vizcarra (wife Nellie) Charlie Vizcarra (wife Lisa).

Her beautiful smile and generous spirit will be truly missed by all.
