Lorance "Chili Red" Jones Sr.

Lorance "Chili Red" Jones Sr., 84, of Elgin, passed away early Sunday morning, Oct. 16, 2022.

He will lie in state at Elgin Funeral Home Wednesday, Oct. 26 from noon until 6 p.m.  A home-going celebration will be conducted at Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church Thursday, Oct.27 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Byron Green presiding. Interment will follow at Elgin Latin Cemetery.
