    Linda Casey Hall

Linda Casey Hall, 77, passed away peacefully Saturday, Dec. 16, 2023.

Born Feb. 3, 1946, to Lovetta and Durward Casey, Linda had a remarkable life filled with love, adventure and cherished memories. Growing up with her father in the Air Force, Linda had the opportunity to travel to many places during her youth. Among those destinations was Germany, which held a special place in her heart and gave her countless stories to share.

In 2019, Linda experienced a profound loss when her beloved husband L.B. Hall passed away. Together, they celebrated nearly five decades of marriage and built a beautiful life together. They resided in North Texas where they raised their four children, three boys named Jack (Greg), Scot and Gary, and their daughter Lori.

In 1976, the family relocated to Georgetown, with the aim of providing a nurturing environment for their children. Eventually settling in Elgin, in 1989, Linda embraced this new chapter wholeheartedly.

During her time in Elgin, Linda devoted herself to raising her grandchildren Hollie and Tyler. She treasured every moment spent with her family and delighted in crafting and sewing projects that brought joy to all around her. Gardening was another passion of hers as she nurtured vibrant life from the earth’s embrace. Music provided solace and inspiration throughout her years while caring for animals brought her immense happiness.

Besides these activities that brought Linda fulfillment every day, she also found immense pleasure in learning about her family’s history. Understanding one’s ancestry was a vital part of Linda’s identity as it allowed her to comprehend the profound roots from which she blossomed.

A celebration of Linda’s extraordinary life will be organized after the holiday season — a time for friends and family to gather together to honor all the cherished moments they shared with her. Details regarding this gathering will be made available for all those who wish to come, share stories, and spend time remembering the remarkable legacy Linda leaves behind.

Arrangements and care are entrusted to: Elgin Funeral Home, 712 N. Ave. C, 512-281-5697, elginfuneralhome.net.
