Lerma Linda Maner

Lerma Linda Maner, 71, died on September 9th, 2021, at Baylor Scott and White Medical Center in Pflugerville, Texas. She was born August 30, 1950, at Brackenridge hospital, in Austin, to Lenora and Clyde Stifflemire. She graduated from Travis High School, then attended Nixon Clay College. After graduation, she married Grant H. Maner, Jr. and settled in Austin. They celebrated their 49th anniversary on August 2nd. She worked at 7UP for several years before retiring to become a stay-at-home mom. She was a steadfast member of Gospel Lighthouse Church for many years. In her later years, she and her family attended End-Time Fellowship. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, spending time with the children and grandchildren, as well as enjoyed watching Gunsmoke and Wagon Train.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lenora and Clyde Stifflemire; brother, Wylie; sister Stephanie.

She is survived by her husband, Grant; two daughters, Melanie and Gail and their husbands; three grandchildren, Avalon, Makayla, and Nathan; three sisters, Connie, June, and Margie; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.

Family and Friends will gather for Visitation at Elgin Funeral Home, Monday, September 13th from 9:00 AM until 6:00 PM.  A Funeral Service will be conducted graveside at Austin Memorial Park, Tuesday, September 14th at 10:00 AM with the Reverends Freddie Jones and Tanya Betak presiding.  Interment will follow at Austin Memorial Park.  Arrangements and care are entrusted to Elgin Funeral Home.
