Kenneth Francis Johnson

Kenneth Francis Johnson, 60, of Elgin, formerly of North Wales, PA, passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2021.  Kenneth was born the youngest of four children, to Florence Edna Garver Johnson and Francis Johnson, in Philadelphia, PA, on December 9, 1960.  He grew up and attended schools in North Wales, PA.  After high school, he enlisted in the United States Army, where he served honorably for four years.  While serving in the Reserves in Texas, he decided to make Elgin his home. He worked as an Outside Maintenance Supervisor for Austin I.S.D. for almost 25 years. In his spare time, he loved to watch the Dallas Cowboys, the Ice Bats Hockey Team, and later the Texas Stars.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father; his stepmother, Mary Johnson; and his sister, Janice Johnson.  He is survived by his sister, Karen and husband Henry Camburn of Louisiana; his sister, Diane Hamilton of Pennsylvania; his stepbrother, Anthony Isabella and wife Michele of Pennsylvania; and numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

A Memorial Service is planned for a later date in Pennsylvania.  Arrangements and care are entrusted to Elgin Funeral Home.
