Our beloved Mother, Juliana Flores, 81, of Elgin Texas, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, July 28, 2021.

Juliana Flores was born on October 8, 1939, to Catarino and Antonia Flores of Elgin Texas. She worked at the University of Texas for 15 years at Jester Hall, and later went on to pursue a CNA license in the healthcare field and remained dedicated to her profession for 25 years. She loved the Texas Longhorns and Elgin Wildcats. She also enjoyed working in her garden and cooking for family. Juliana was famous for her tamales, banana pudding and many other special dishes. Always giving more than she seemed to receive, nothing made her happier than doing all she could do to help someone in need. She was an amazing and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Juliana is survived by her children, Oscar Ramirez Jr. (MaryJane), Alexander Ramirez (Patsy), Laura Ramirez, Inez DeJesus (Samuel), Mara Mason, and her grandchildren, Mario Ramirez, Emilio Ramirez, April Ramirez, Jonathan Ramirez, Benjamin Ramirez, Brandi Cerda, Rosa Ortiz, Junior Ortiz, Mark Ortiz, Pascual Ortiz, Sam DeJesus, Audrey Mason, Katalina Mason, 19 great-grandchildren, and her eldest sister, Lacardia Jonse.

She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Pedro "Pete" Flores, Catarino "Kino" Flores Jr., Fernando Flores, Susie Flores Martinez, and Juan "John" Flores.

The Family would like to thank everyone for all their love, prayers, and support. A special thank you to Peter Mason, and Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia staff, Dr. Javier Sanchez, Sandra Suarez-Alvarez, and Hospice Austin staff, Shannon, Greg, Rebecca, and Katrina.
