John Smith, Sr., 74, of Manor, formerly of Bastrop, passed away Friday, August 27, 2021. He will lie in state at Elgin Funeral Home, Friday, September 3rd from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM. A Home-Going Celebration will be conducted graveside at Clearview Cemetery of Bastrop, Saturday, September 4th at 11:00 AM with the Reverend, Kathleen Amboree presiding. Arrangements and care are entrusted to Elgin Funeral Home.
