Michael was an outstanding athlete where he was an outside linebacker for the Round Rock Dragons. After graduation, he worked in construction doing framing and roofing until he joined Local 87 of the International Association of Heat and Frost Insulators and Asbestos Workers for many, many years. Michael was married to the love of his life for 42 years. They shared two children along with nine grandchildren. Michael loved the time he spent with his kids and grandkids, especially taking them for tractor rides. He was lovingly known as “Paw Paw.”

Michael enjoyed many outings to the river, casinos, cruises, and local establishments with friends whom he considered family. Michael’s quotes, “The sun is in my eyes” and “It is what it is” will be remembered by all.
