Elmo Irvin Taylor

A member of the Texas A&M Class of 1974, Elmo Irvin Taylor of Bastrop, passed away at age 67 on Wednesday, July 25, 2018. He was born April 13, 1951 in Lampasas, Texas to Lonzo and Rowena (Crocker) Taylor.

Elmo graduated Killeen High School and then attended Central Texas College and Texas A & M University, where he studied Engineering Technology. He and his wife Jeannie have resided in Bastrop, Texas for the past 18 years. He was a Deacon at First Baptist Church of Bastrop while also teaching Sunday School and serving on numerous committees.

He is survived by: his wife, Jeannie Taylor; children, Zackery Taylor, Kathleen Taylor, Jacob Taylor, Kim Goodwill and her usband Cody; grandchildren, Chloe Goodwill, Colton Goodwill, Conner Goodwill; and a brother, Luther Taylor.
