Read moreScout Troops 472, 473 and 182 got their hands green May 18, painting the fences over Morris Memorial Pond and its new accompanying playground. Public Works pressure washed the fence and bridges, Parks &and Recreation purchased supplies and the Scouts spent the day brightening up the grounds. Morris Memorial Playground opened up in February after months of community input. The 10-foot-tall treehouse-styled playground is ADA accessible and has quickly become a favorite of the city’s youth.
