Lillian Frances Kastner Monson, age 99 of Elgin, passed away Monday, April 15, 2024.Lillian was born Sept. 18,1924, in McDade, to Martin and Henrietta (Liesmann) Kastner. She attended Ramsey school and Elgin High School, graduating in 1941. After high school, she attended Durham’s business College in Austin, and started working at Austin National Bank May 10, 1943, located at 5th and Congress Avenue.
