Tim and Lucy DeLap, of East Dundee, formerly of Elgin, are astonished to announce the 50th anniversary of their union May 18. Lucy Alden, daughter of John and Connie Alden of Northbrook, and Timothy DeLap, son of Keith and Naomi DeLap of Broadview (later Lake in the Hills), met at the University of Illinois and were married May 18, 1974, at the Wesley Foundation in Dekalb.
