After starting the 2021 baseball season 0-8, the Elgin Wildcats found their groove, going 19-8 the rest of the season to finish 19-17 overall and 12-2 in district 18-5A as a back-and-forth season battle with Pflugerville Hendrickson resulted in a second place seeding for the playoffs.
