In a must-win for both teams, Elgin took the field at home against the Eagles of Cedar Creek on Tuesday evening, March 3.
While both teams struggled to penetrate each others’ defense, they both did a very good job controlling the ball on their offensive half of the field. The Wildcat defense made several crucial plays not allowing the faster Cedar Creek offense to break through and get inside the box. Neither team was able to score in the first half, leaving the field with a 0-0 tie at halftime.
