For the first time in 5 years, the Wildcat co-ed tennis team has qualified for the playoffs based on Region III district play. Elgin finished fourth and grabbed the final playoff eligibility during the season after last week’s final match in Bastrop.

The Wildcats will travel to Cedar Park for Round 1 to face the powerful Cedar Park T-Wolves on Tuesday, October 15 at 1 p.m. The contest consists of 16 matches, which includes boys' and girls' singles, doubles and co-ed matches.

Coaches Daryl Remschel and John Morgan are extremely proud of their team’s progress during the season.
