This week’s major sports news event was the automobile accident of golf superstar Tiger Woods.  The crash took place while Woods was headed north on Hawthorne Boulevard just before 7:12 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 23.  The area is one of increased accident frequency, given the slope and curves on the road.
