Smithville track and field athletes Brice Chabot, Charles Hodge IV and Nikolette Scmidt are all headed to the 4A state meet at the beginning of May. Scmidt emerged as regional pole vault champion with a height of 12’3. Chabot finished second in the 100-meter and 200-meter run with times of 10.57 and 22.03, respectively. Hodge finished second in the 400-meter with a time of 50.70. The 4x400 relay team of Tyson Hancock, Hodge, Mason Moberg and Chabot finished third with a time of 3:26.78.
