If Thursday night was any indication, Wildcat basketball has a bright future in the next few years.
Both 8th grade teams simply crushed a vastly outmatched Georgetown Tippit Middle School Titans team. This came after easily running past Georgetown Wagner Middle School earlier in the week. The 7th grade teams have been outstanding as well in their first two games.
Led by middle school boys sports coordinator and coach Aaron Griffin and coaches Travis Early, Dustin Maedgen and Corey Bullard, the Elgin Middle School teams have shown aggressiveness, discipline and shot-making ability so far in this young season.

The 8th grade teams played in Elgin, with the Purple team opening in a complete and utter dominant performance over the Titans from Tip-pit 52-6. Their aggressive offense and defense simply confounded the opponents into turnover after turnover. The Wildcats travel to Liberty Hill on December 12th for a conference game against the Panthers.
