On Thursday, April 7, McDade High School’s boys’ and girls’, varsity and junior varsity track teams competed at the District 30-1A Championships, which were held at Runge High School.The Bulldogs boys’ varsity secured a first-place finish amongst a field of seven competing schools, racking up 141 team points over 17 total events.The girls’ varsity had an excellent showing as well, tying Nordheim for third (70 points), while finishing behind only Moulton (96) and Runge (95) on the podium.The girls’ JV group, meanwhile, captured the gold medal in its bracket, racking up 20 points to edge Nordheim’s total of 16.From both ...
