The Smithville Tigers won their first playoff game last Friday, November 15, and this is has not happened for this Varsity Team since 1965. Come out and celebrate history in the making.  This Friday (Nov. 22) is Game 2 of playoffs against Silsbee.  There will be a pep rally to send them off at 12:30 followed by a parade/send off.  The Smithville High School Varsity Football team will be coming through Smithville for a send off at 1:00pm on Friday. They will go to Brown Primary and then over the railroad tracks on Hwy 95, down 1st. St., down Main St.
