The Co-District champion Elgin Lady Cats softball added another title to the 2020-21 season team: bi-district champions. Elgin shut out the Liberal Arts & Science Academy (LASA) 10-0 to advance to the area round this past weekend. Emma Neidig pitched five innings for the Lady Cats. She struck out 11 while surrendering just two hits. Cassidy Davis collected three singles in the game to help lead Elgin to the win. Hannah Reiley contributed a pair of singles in her efforts.
