The Lady Cats gave regional powerhouse Cedar Park everything it could handle, but still fell 7-0 in a Class 5A bi-district playoff game at The Pfield. “The grit and determination we showed tonight was amazing,” Elgin coach Ryan Wiederkehr said. “We took a huge challenge head on and fought for 80 minutes.
