MANOR – Jace Grady threw a one-hit shutout to lead the Elgin Wildcats past lowly Manor 14-0 last Tuesday.
Grady struck out 12 batters and walked just three over six innings of work.
David Perez led Elgin from the plate by driving in six runs as part of a 3-for-4 performance. Perez drove in runs on a single in the fourth, a double in the sixth and a home run in the sixth.
