Girls' soccer shuts out Cedar Creek

On Friday the Lady Cats varsity soccer team hosted Cedar Creek, defeating the Lady Eagles 5-0.

Senior Kalyssa Zamora scored two goals. Senior Nikki Camara scored one goal and added an assist, as did sophmores Jasmin Estrada and Crystal Jaimes. Senior Madissen Lawhon and sophomore Daeyanna Hernandez each added an assist. There were no injuries, but sophomore Daniela Rosales was shown a yellow card for an accumulation of fouls.

The Lady Cats are 1-2 in district play and will travel to Hutto to face the Lady Hippos on Tuesday, February 11. Hutto is 3-0 in district play and tied for first place in district with Georgetown.
