The Elgin Middle School girls’ and boys’ track teams closed out the 2022 campaign at their respective district meets last Monday, March 28, with the girls group competing at Eastview High School and the boys at Georgetown High School.The girls’ seventh grade team took home a seventh-place finish, and the eighth graders a 10th-place spot, as a number of Ladycat student athletes enjoyed standout performances.Ta’Myra Walker excelled in the 100 meter hurdles for the seventh grade team, posting a bronze medal finish, while Grace Hagen secured second place in discus.The eighth grade girls 4 x 100 meter relay team –
