Elgin, Pflugerville split series, each now 3-1 in district

The Elgin High School varsity baseball club split its district series against the Pflugerville Panthers last week, losing a Tuesday night road game, 7-4, before earning a 6-4 win back home on Friday night.Sophomore Nathen Lewis extended his sterling offensive start for the Wildcats on the road Tuesday in Pflugerville, collecting two of the team’s four total hits as well as each of the team’s two RBI.
