As football season nears its end, all-district honors are being awarded.A number of Wildcats players have been recognized for their achievements on the gridiron and in the classroom. Justin Strong was given the prestigious title of Defensive Player of the Year within District 11-5A. Strong finished the season with 97 total tackles, 10 tackles for loss, four interceptions, three forced fumbles and a fumble recovery. He was also named first team all-district for his role as the team’s leading receiver, racking up 606 yards and eight touchdowns on 32 receptions.Another Wildcats player earned a district superlative award.
