​The Elgin boys basketball team hosted the Taylor Ducks on Tuesday, Nov. 15, and found themselves on the losing end of a thrilling matchup. ​After the Wildcats led for the majority of the game, the Ducks ultimately prevailed at the end to claim a 40-39 victory.Elgin leaned on some solid man-to-man defense to jump out to an early 8-3 lead.
