Elgin boys golf takes first place, girls’ team fourth, at Duck Invitational

The Elgin Wildcats golf team placed first as a team with a score of 356 in the Duck Invitational Tournament on February 7th at Mustang Creek Golf Course in Taylor. The Wildcat team was Payne Lochridge, Jack Grames, Cameron Hardy, Wyatt Fisher, and Blaine Mueller. Finishing behind the Wildcats were the Thrall Tigers (407) and Pflugerville Panthers (441). Sophomore Payne Lochridge and freshman Jack Grames tied for tournament champion with a score of 85. Weiss's Jett Johnico turned in an 86 for third place, Weiss's Carter Bradford and Pflugerville's Marshall Prout tied for fourth place with a 90.The Elgin Lady ...
