The Elgin girls’ powerlifting team secured yet another excellent result on Saturday, Jan. 29, earning a second-place finish at the Wildcat Invitational, the school’s home meet for the 2022 campaign.With 29 points, the Lady Cats outpaced 12 of 13 opposing teams in the field. Only College Station collected more points than Elgin, registering a 63-point performance.Elgin tallied one first-place outing on the ladies’ side of the bracket.
