Lady Cats track has a new coach at the helm. Coach Hope Pawlik assumed head coaching duties for the 2019-2020 season after Coach Jenny Fajkus resigned her position. Coach Pawlik is from Willis, Texas, where she ran track and played volleyball in high school. She attended the University of Louisiana at Monroe and played indoor and outdoor volleyball. Pawlik was the director of a beach volleyball club in Houston and relocated to Giddings to be closer to family, working for the state while coaching on the side.
