Cross country team represents Elgin well at regional meet

The Elgin cross-country varsity team traveled to the regional meet in Huntsville on Monday, October 28 as one of 24 schools competing to move on to state. The Wildcats finished a very respectable 10th place out of 24. Individually, district champion Mario Ruiz finished 16th out of 182 runners, and he will move on to represent Elgin at the Texas State Cross Country Meet to be held on November 9 in Round Rock.
