The McDade Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs faced the Buckholts Badgers last Tuesday, November 16.The McDade varsity boys’ basketball team nearly doubled Buckholts’ score with a 88-47 victory over the Badgers.Outstanding players include senior Anthony Cottrill (#10), who set a school record with 47 points earned, as well as 19 rebounds, nine assists, eight blocks and three steals; junior James Dube (#5) with 18 points, 14 rebounds, four assists and four steals; and junior Xavier Candanoza (#11) with 17 points, five rebounds, seven assists, six steals and three blocks.The McDade varsity girls’ basketball team fell just short of victory, losing to ...
